Georgia’s Symphony Orchestra Augusta has appointed KATIE GLAESER music librarian. She studied horn performance at the University of Southern Mississippi and subsequently earned a bachelor’s in music from Excelsior College. Glaeser has performed on both horn and violin with such organizations as the Meridian (Miss.) Symphony and the Army Ground Forces Band. A member of the American Library Association, the Music Library Association, and the Society of American Archivists, she is currently pursuing a master’s degree in library and information science from the University of South Carolina.
