The Van Cliburn Foundation in Fort Worth, Texas, has appointed ALANN BEDFORD SAMPSON interim president and CEO, effective September 1. She has been a member of the foundation’s board since 1971, and from 1994 until January of this year she served as board chairman. The foundation will conduct an international search for a permanent president and CEO.
