KATHARINE H. CALDWELL has been named director of philanthropic services at the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. A graduate of Sarah Lawrence College with a master’s degree in vocal performance from the Catholic University of America, she has spent 25 years in the field of legacy and endowment gifts, capital campaign strategic planning, and management. She has served as director of development at several of Johns Hopkins University’s colleges and has facilitated major fundraising campaigns at its School of Education, Institute for Policy Studies, and Bloomberg School of Public Health.
