San Diego’s Orchestra Nova has announced the appointment of ROSS MOORE to the newly created post of education ambassador. For twelve years he served as educator for the Kentucky Derby Museum in Louisville, Ky., an institution noted for its outreach programs, many of them music-related. Moore has spent the last two years as a consultant to the San Diego County Library system, developing partnerships with community organizations and creating the San Diego County Library Acoustic Showcase, which presents local musicians in appearances at libraries across the county.
