The Terre Haute Symphony Orchestra in Indiana has announced the appointment of TIFFANI SCHMIDT as executive director. She served most recently as production assistant with The Louisville Orchestra. Prior work experience includes internships with the Lafayette Symphony Orchestra and Purdue Convocations, both in Indiana. Schmidt is a graduate of Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, where she earned her degree in music business administration with minors in business administration and women’s studies. An accomplished flutist, she has taught private flute lessons and participated in numerous local, regional, and national honors bands and orchestras.
