Applications due October 10, 2011
The League of American Orchestras is currently accepting applications for the 2011-12 MetLife Governance Grants for Board Development. Made possible by a generous grant from MetLife Foundation, the MetLife Governance Grants will provide financial support to orchestra boards to support the strengthening of their governance practice.
Awards ranging from $2,500 to $7,500 will be given to up to seven orchestras. Those orchestras selected for the grants, via a competitive application process, will be informed by November 15, 2011. The activity supported by the grant must be completed no later than March 31, 2012, with a brief final report due to the League no later than April 16, 2012.
