DAVID GAYLIN has returned to California’s Fresno Philharmonic as interim executive director. He served in that position from 2003 to 2006, and has agreed to resume his duties on a temporary basis while the Philharmonic conducts a national search for a successor to DON REINHOLD, who resigned in October. In addition to his three years with the Fresno Philharmonic, Gaylin has held executive director posts at the Virginia Symphony and Boston Baroque. He has also been a senior partner in Mercer Management Consulting and Wilson Alan, serving Fortune 500 clients as a management consultant in strategic planning and organizational development. Gaylin holds bachelor’s and MBA degrees from Harvard University, as well as a Master of Music degree from New England Conservatory.
