In Wednesday’s (11/16) Seattle Times, Misha Berson writes, “At a news conference Monday to outline future production plans, Intiman Theatre released a list of prominent Seattle writers, actors, directors and other artists who are part of the company’s new artistic collective. The Intiman has just added another name: Seattle Symphony music director Ludovic Morlot, whom Intiman consulting artistic director Andrew Russell is conferring with about a possible joint project in 2013. Russell said the collective at this point is functioning as a kind of creative think tank of artists whom he consults individually, for ideas about future projects for Intiman. Intiman is currently attempting to raise $1 million to underwrite a 2012 summer season of productions, which would revive the theater after its cessation of operations last April due to mounting debt and other financial problems.”
