Broadcast Music Inc. has sent a reminder that BMI Interim License Agreements will soon be expiring. Those symphony orchestras that have not renewed their BMI Symphony Licenses are encouraged to immediately renew their licenses under the newly negotiated BMI License for Symphony Orchestras to ensure continued coverage for use of BMI music. To renew, visit bmi.com/symphony and click “Renew Your License,” then enter the username and password included in your last correspondence from BMI.
BMI will soon provide symphony licensees the ability to report, submit programs, and manage accounts online; instructions regarding online reporting will be announced in December.
