Thursday (12/8) on the Fox 19 news site (Cincinnati), Richard Todd reports, “The music of the Cincinnati Symphony and Pops Orchestras will be heard at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) with a live performance on Thursday. The CSO’s brass quintet will perform live in Concourse B at 2 p.m. to kick off a growing partnership between the airport and the symphony. The partnership will enable CVG to broadcast the CSO’s recorded music to passengers throughout the airport during the holidays and beyond. John Morris Russell, Conductor of the Cincinnati Pops, can also be heard welcoming passengers to CVG and ensuring that passengers control their baggage. … ‘For millions around the world, a first impression of Cincinnati has been made experiencing a Cincinnati Symphony or Cincinnati Pops recording, and for millions each and every year, that first impression of the Queen City has been made arriving at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport,’ said CSO President Trey Devey. ‘Both showcase the best our region has to offer, and we’re proud to partner with CVG.’ ”
