Fox Valley Symphony Youth Orchestras (Appleton, Wis.) has appointed SEONG-KYUNG GRAHAM conductor, effective January 8, 2012. She is currently music director of Wisconsin’s Civic Symphony of Green Bay and director of the Chancel Choir of Pilgrim Congregational Church in Green Bay. She has served as music director of the Bradley Chamber Orchestra at Bradley University; music director of the Ripon College Orchestra; and assistant conductor of the Lawrence Symphony Orchestra in Appleton. A native of Korea, Graham received a Bachelor of Music degree from Sungshin Women’s University in Seoul and a Master of Music from the University of North Texas. She pursued additional graduate studies in conducting at the University of Illinois and at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music.
