SUSAN HOFFMAN has been named executive director of the Peoria (Ill.) Symphony Orchestra. Before assuming that post on January 9 she had been director of patron relationship management for The Cleveland Orchestra. Prior to that she spent more than two decades (1986-2009) as president and CEO of the Adrian (Mich.) Symphony Orchestra. A graduate of Adrian College, Hoffman has served on the faculty of the League of American Orchestras’ Orchestra Leadership Academy; as a participant in the League’s Institutional Vision Program; and as vice-chair for its Policy C Group orchestras.
