Aspen Music Festival and School has announced a five-year renewal of ALAN FLETCHER’s contract as president and CEO, effective January 1, 2012. Fletcher has led the institution since March 2006. He had spent the previous six years directing the School of Music at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, and earlier served for sixteen years on the faculty of New England Conservatory, where he was also provost and dean of the college.
