California’s Santa Rosa Symphony has appointed MARY PANET to the new position of development associate. She joins the orchestra after five years as a grant writer for Social Advocates for Youth in Santa Rosa, where she was also the organization’s executive assistant. Prior to that she worked as a legal assistant for two Santa Rosa law firms, and served as event coordinator for the Ati Ling Tibetan Buddhist Center in Sebastopol. At the Santa Rosa Symphony she will assist the development director in increasing support from foundations, businesses, and government for the organization’s $4 million “For the Love of Music” fundraising campaign.
