The New Haven (Conn.) Symphony Orchestra has announced the appointment of LAURA ADAM as education director. Most recently education and outreach director for the Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra in her native Michigan, Adam is a graduate of that state’s Interlochen Arts Academy and of the Eastman School of Music, where she received a bachelor’s degree in voice. Following graduation she worked for a year at the Cathedral Choir School of Metropolitan Detroit as marketing and development associate, assistant conductor, vocal coach, and soprano section leader.
