This March, the League will mark the fourth annual Orchestras Feeding America national food drive. When Orchestras Feeding America started, one in eight Americans were food insecure. This year, one in six people in America don’t know where their next meal is coming from. With more than 350,000 pounds collected over the last year, orchestras are truly making a difference to those in need.
If you haven’t already, please sign up for the 2012 food drive taking place this March or, if your orchestra has already conducted a food drive over this past holiday season, thank you, and we invite you to add your food pounds to the national total.
