ROSSEN MILANOV, music director of the Princeton (N.J.) Symphony Orchestra, Symphony in C (Camden, N.J.), and the New Symphony Orchestra in his native Sofia, Bulgaria, will take on an additional post in the 2012-13 season as principal conductor of the Orquesta Sinfónica del Principado de Asturias, based in Oviedo, Spain. Milanov recently completed an eleven-year tenure as associate conductor of The Philadelphia Orchestra and artistic director of The Philadelphia Orchestra at The Mann Center for the Performing Arts. He has guest conducted numerous U.S. orchestras and appears at Carnegie Hall each season through its LinkUP! education program. Milanov studied conducting at The Juilliard School, the Curtis Institute of Music, Duquesne University, and the Bulgarian National Academy of Music.
