The Seattle Symphony has announced the appointment of KELLY DYLLA as vice president of education and community engagement, effective May 29, 2012. She brings ten years of experience in arts education and administration, most recently as director of audience engagement at California’s Pacific Symphony. Dylla holds a bachelor’s degree from Rice University, an MBA from the University of Michigan, and a master’s in viola performance from The Juilliard School. In 2008 she was awarded the Ross Innovation Award for her leadership and initiative in launching Arts Enterprise, a national chapter-based organization that creates communities of arts and business students dedicated to developing ideas for cultural and economic growth.
