LAURA C. DICKASON has been appointed director of philanthropy at the Charlottesville (Va.) Symphony Society. She served most recently as director of the Little Keswick Foundation for Special Education in Keswick, Va. Prior to assuming that post in 2005 she worked as assistant director of annual giving at the University of Virginia; as marketing director for the Marietta (Ohio) YMCA; and as director of grants development and major gifts at the Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C. Dickason holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Oklahoma State University and an MBA from the Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh.
