Administrative: San Francisco Classical Voice

San Francisco Classical Voice (sfcv.org), a Bay Area website providing news, criticism, and information for the classical music field, has appointed VERONICA BASHBUSH executive director. Since January 2011 she has served in senior strategic planning and operations positions at the Memphis Symphony Orchestra, most recently as vice president of strategic planning and projects. She is a 2010 graduate of the League of American Orchestras’ Essentials of Orchestra Management seminar. A lifelong trombone player, she had previously served as business manager for the L.A. Metropolitan Brass Band and as a Kellogg Board Fellow at the Evanston (Ill.) Symphony Orchestra. Bashbush holds an MBA degree from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. She had earlier trained as an engineer, receiving a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Stanford University and a master’s in aerospace engineering from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo.
