Artistic: Fox Valley Symphony Youth Orchestras

Fox Valley Symphony Youth Orchestras (Appleton, Wis.) has announced the appointment of ADAM BROWN as conductor of its Philharmonia ensemble, a string orchestra for students in grades seven through ten. Brown leads orchestra programs at two middle schools in the Fond du Lac School District, and has been a cello section coach for the Fox Valley Symphony Youth and Concert Orchestras for the past six years. As a performer he has played in the Fox Valley Symphony and in Wisconsin’s Green Bay and Oshkosh symphony orchestras. Brown holds a bachelor’s degree in music education from Lawrence University in Appleton and a master’s in music education from Northwestern University.
