PETER SIROTIN, associate concertmaster of the Harrisburg (Pa.) Symphony Orchestra since 1996, has been named acting concertmaster to succeed ODIN RATHNAM, who retired in May after many years in the concertmaster post. Sirotin will serve as concertmaster for the HSO’s summer concerts, June 29 through August 4, and will continue as acting concertmaster during the 2012-13 season. The orchestra will begin the audition process for a permanent concertmaster in the spring of 2013.
