Maryland’s Annapolis Symphony Orchestra has announced the appointment of HARLEY E. FLACK as chairman of its Board of Trustees for the 2012-13 season. He is the founder and CEO of FlackVentures, a firm that studies metrics and overall performance indicators at both public-sector and for-profit companies to lead and manage successful growth. He is also a partner at Severn Development Partners, which provides services to new housing communities including those serving students and seniors, and Caretinuum, a New York-based company that manages health solutions for developmentally disabled persons and their families. In addition to having served on the ASO’s Executive Committee, Harley has been a board member of the Community Foundation of Anne Arundel County (Md.) and a member on the Advisory Board of CFG Bank.
