CHUCK DURITSCH has been named communications & media manager for Dayton Performing Arts Alliance, a new nonprofit entity launched July 1 as umbrella organization for the merged Dayton Philharmonic, Dayton Ballet, and Dayton Opera. Prior to the merger Duritsch spent four years as marketing and communications director for Dayton Opera. He has also worked as a newspaper reporter (Cincinnati Post, Dayton Daily News), as a TV producer (WDTN TV2), and as a freelance writer. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electronic media from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, and received further training in an MBA program at Xavier University in Cincinnati.
