THOMAS BOOKHOUT has been appointed interim chorus master at the Phoenix Symphony. He is director of performing arts at Scottsdale (Ariz.) Christian Academy, and also directs the Sanctuary Choir of Camelback Bible Church. Before moving to the Phoenix area he served as music director of the Taghkanic Chorale (Yorktown Heights, N.Y.); director of choral activities at the University of Charleston (W. Va.); director of the Women’s Chorus and assistant conductor of the Concert Choir at Arizona State University; director of music at the Stony Brook School (Long Island, N.Y.); and headmaster of a private school in upstate New York.
