Artistic: New Haven Symphony

Connecticut’s New Haven Symphony Orchestra has announced that JERRY STEICHEN will step down as principal pops conductor following the orchestra’s October 20 concert, titled “Broadway A to Z: ABBA to Les Miz.” Steichen, the NHSO’s principal pops conductor for the past sixteen years, has recently taken on an expanded role as principal pops conductor for the Utah Symphony. He is also music director of the Ridgefield (Conn.) Symphony Orchestra.
