American Youth Philharmonic Orchestras, based in Annandale, Virginia, has announced that The Ensemble da Camera of Washington— a professional group consisting of clarinetist CLAIRE EICHHORN, pianist ANNA BALAKERSKAIA, and violinist/violist RICARDO CYNCYNATES—will serve as ensemble-in-residence for the AYPO’s Chamber Ensemble Program. Its 2012-13 residency includes two concerts, four master classes, and the presentation of a spring student recital. The first concert, a program of chamber works by Mozart, Schumann, and Beethoven, took place on October 21 at Vienna Presbyterian Church. The master class series begins December 16 at Harris Theatre on the Fairfax campus of George Mason University.
