She brings more than 25 years of experience in marketing and development for performing arts institutions. Dillenburg began her career with the Cathedral Choral Society in Washington, D.C., and subsequently served as director of marketing with that city’s Ford’s Theatre. In Nashville she held marketing posts with the Tennessee Repertory Theatre and Nashville Ballet. Dillenburg later worked at the Woodruff Arts Center in Atlanta, spending three years as director of corporate relations for the Atlanta Symphony and four as director of development at the Alliance Theatre. In 2006 she returned to Nashville as executive director of Nashville Ballet, and in 2010 joined the Nashville Symphony as vice president of external affairs. A native of northern Minnesota, Dillenburg graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College (St. Peter, Minn.) with majors in economics and music performance, and she completed studies towards a master’s degree in performing arts management at American University in Washington, D.C.
