Trinity Wall Street to hold benefit concert for Hurricane Sandy victims

Posted on: November 9, 2012

Julian Wachner will lead the Trinity Choir and Trinity Baroque Orchestra in a free benefit performance of Bach’s B-minor Mass on November 10 at 7:30 p.m. at Wall Street Trinity Church in lower Manhattan. All proceeds from the concert will benefit the nonprofit Mayor’s Fund to Advance New York City to help residents affected by Hurricane Sandy with immediate needs such as water, food, toiletries, baby supplies, blankets and cleaning materials, as well as longer-term restoration recovery efforts. Though most Trinity Wall Street concerts are live-webcast at its website, there will not be a webcast for this concert, as Trinity’s video facilities were flooded by the storm.
