Orchestre de la Suisse Romande (Geneva, Switzerland) has appointed HENK SWINNEN general manager, effective February 1, 2013. A native of Belgium with Dutch nationality, he brings high-level orchestra experience in both management and performance. Swinnen is currently artistic director of the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra and formerly held the post of principal oboe with the Dutch Radio Philharmonic Orchestra.
