ERIC M. GEWIRTZ has been named associate director of public relations at New York’s Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, effective December 3. For the past three years he has served as director of media and public relations at the music publishing firm Boosey & Hawkes. He had previously spent five years at the New York Philharmonic, working successively as public relations associate, publicist, and assistant director of public relations for media and touring. From September 2004 to July 2005 he was an account executive at Ruder Finn Arts & Communications Counselors. Gewirtz is a graduate of Arizona State University, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism and mass communication/public relations and a Bachelor of Music in percussion performance.
