A report Tuesday (2/26) on the Independent Record online (Helena, Montana) states, “The Helena Symphony Board of Directors named Pat Callbeck Harper as interim executive director. Harper will serve as interim director at least until July, she said, while the symphony board continues its national search for a permanent director. She will oversee the administrative staff, including the director of finance, bookkeeper, box office manager and office volunteers. She also will be involved with the marketing, development and daily administrative operations of the organization. Harper has an extensive career as an organizational development consultant, public speaker, manager of global and national projects, and trainer with staff and volunteers in numerous organizations. She has held prominent positions with The Peace with Justice Program in Washington, D.C., was associate state director of AARP Montana for Advocacy and Communications, and education specialist with the Montana Office of Public Instruction.”
