A report Tuesday (4/23) on the website for Idaho news station KTVB states, “The Meridian Symphony Orchestra rehearsed for the first time Monday night with its two newest performers. Fourteen-year-old classical piano phenom Noah Jesse and 17-year-old classical violinist phenom Jacquelyn Audis, both won their respective divisions in the annual Young Artists Competition. The reward is a feature performance with the Meridian Symphony in their annual ‘Rising Stars’ spring concert. ‘The chance to play with a fine orchestra is something many young players never get a chance to do, sometimes through their college career they don’t have that opportunity. So this is really, not only a great opportunity for them but a testament of how great they are this early in their career,’ said Meridian Symphony Artistic Director Jim Ogle. … Noah attends the Fresco Arts Academy in Eagle, and Jacquelyn is a junior at Boise High School in Boise. Both will be featured on April 27 at Centennial High during the Meridian Symphony performance at 7:30 p.m.”
