The Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra has announced the appointment of SUZANNE SWEENEY as vice president of finance, effective June 3. She goes to the ISO from Indiana Repertory Theatre, where as associate managing director she was responsible for the organization’s budgeting, strategic planning, human resources, and board-engagement functions. She had earlier provided audit and consulting services for the accounting firm BKD, LLP; served as senior accountant at Myers and Stauffer, CPAs; and managed audits and contracts for Merchants National Bank and KPMG. Sweeney holds an MBA from Indiana University and a bachelor’s degree from The College of William and Mary.
