The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center in New York City has announced the appointment of SUZANNE DAVIDSON as executive director, effective July 1, 2013. She will succeed NORMA HURLBURT, who has served as executive director since 2000 and is establishing a consulting business for nonprofit organizations. Davidson was most recently the associate dean and vice president of New York Law School. In the arts field she has served as president of the School of American Ballet, which is associated with New York City Ballet, and prior to that she was producing director of Second Stage Theatre. She began her career as an associate in the entertainment department of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP. Also announced by the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center was the extension of its contract with Artistic Directors DAVID FINCKEL and WU HAN through the 2018-19 season.
