The Bellevue (Wash.) Youth Symphony Orchestra has named TRUDI JACKSON executive director to succeed RUTH BREWSTER, who has led the orchestra since 1993 and will step down this summer. A native of Seattle, Jackson has worked in marketing and computer networking in California, Washington State, and Sweden. She has also been active with the Bellevue Schools Foundation for ten years, most recently as board president, and serves on the Bellevue Arts Commission. Jackson holds a bachelor’s degree from Vassar College and an MBA from Stanford University. She has studied harp and is the mother of two daughters who studied piano, organ, saxophone, cello, and voice.
