CHELSEA KNOX has been appointed principal flute in the New Haven (Conn.) Symphony Orchestra. A native of Litchfield, Conn., she holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from The Juilliard School, where she studied with Jeffrey Khaner, principal flute in the Philadelphia Orchestra. Knox is also principal flute in the Princeton (N.J.) Symphony Orchestra, and has performed with such ensembles as the IRIS Orchestra (Germantown, Tenn.), the Juilliard Orchestra, the New Jersey Philharmonic, and the ETA3 Trio.
