JENNY GRÉGOIRE, concertmaster of the Mobile (Ala.) Symphony Orchestra, the Meridian (Miss.) Symphony Orchestra, and the Gulf Coast Symphony (Gulfport, Miss.), has been named instructor of violin at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, where she will oversee the violin department and provide private lessons to approximately fifteen students. In addition to her concertmaster posts, Grégoire performs with the Tuscaloosa Symphony Orchestra, the Birmingham-based Alabama Symphony Orchestra, and the Pensacola Symphony Orchestra in Florida. A native of Quebec, she holds a master’s degree in violin performance and pedagogy from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.
