Composer Stephen Paulus in “critical but stable” condition following a stroke

Minnesota composer Stephen Paulus, 63, suffered a stroke on July 4, according to his website. As of July 9, the website stated that he was “in critical but stable condition at a Twin Cities hospital. At this time, information about his future recovery is still unclear. The family appreciates everyone’s support, but have requested privacy while they cope with this situation. As more information becomes available, we will update our website and our Facebook page.”
