ANNA KEPE-HAAS has been appointed executive director of Greater Bridgeport (Conn.) Youth Orchestras. She was most recently on the production team of the All-Star Orchestra, a newly established ensemble consisting of musicians from top professional orchestras and led by conductor Gerard Schwarz in performances produced for public television. Other experience in the music industry includes posts as COO and CEO of Kettles and Company, a New York-based rental service providing percussion instruments, timpani, and celestas to clients worldwide; and associate partner of Gemini Music Productions Ltd., a large employer of freelance musicians in the New York area with clients including the Mostly Mozart Festival, New York Pops, and numerous other orchestras. Kepe-Haas holds a bachelor’s degree in classical theater from George Washington University and an MBA from New York University. In February 2013 she completed the League of American Orchestras’ Essentials of Orchestra Management course.
