Iowa’s Fort Dodge Area Symphony has appointed JOSHUA BARLAGE music director and conductor. He will continue to serve as managing director of the Des Moines (Iowa) Symphony Academy, a post he has held since 2009. Barlage has held assistant conducting posts with Ohio’s Opera Columbus, Columbus Light Opera, and Columbus Symphony Youth Orchestras.
