CYNTHIA GIUNTA has been named to the piano faculty at Iowa’s Des Moines Symphony Academy. A regular keyboard player for the Des Moines Symphony Orchestra since 1993, she has appeared as soloist and recital accompanist at numerous colleges and universities and maintains a teaching studio with an emphasis on private and group instruction for high-school and college-aged students. Giunta has also served as an adjunct instructor in piano at Des Moines’s Drake University and as co-director of music for Catalyst Arts Academy in Phoenix, Ariz.
