LAURA EMERICK has been appointed digital content editor at the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, a newly created position. She spent more than 25 years at the Chicago Sun-Times, in roles including arts editor, culture writer, music editor, Sunday Showcase editor, and Latin music/culture writer. She is a graduate of Indiana University, and has taught graduate-level courses at Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism.
