The Austin Symphony in Texas has appointed SUSAN MIVILLE director of education, effective October 7. She goes to Austin from the Memphis Symphony Orchestra, where she is concluding her tenure as director of musician engagement. Prior to that post Miville was director of education, outreach, and community partnerships at the Charlotte (N.C.) Symphony and co-principal of the organization ArtsEngage—Integrative Arts Curriculum and Community Collaboration.
