JEFFREY MISTRI has been named vice president of artistic administration at the Fort Worth (Tex.) Symphony Orchestra. He goes to Fort Worth from California’s Philharmonic Society of Orange County, where he served for five years as artistic administrator. Prior to that Mistri spent two years in the artistic administration department of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, and in the summer of 2003 held a pops-related internship with the Boston Symphony Orchestra. He holds a bachelor’s degree from California State University and a master’s in orchestral and operatic conducting from UCLA.
