THOMAS DAUSGAARD has been appointed principal guest conductor at the Seattle Symphony, effective with the 2014-15 season. He is currently chief conductor of the Swedish Chamber Orchestra and honorary conductor of the Danish National Symphony, where he served as principal conductor from 2004 to 2011. A resident of Denmark, Dausgaard has guest conducted extensively in Europe, Canada, the U.S., Australia, and Asia, and has a discography that includes more than 50 CDs.
