The Owensboro Symphony Orchestra in northwestern Kentucky announced that it has added a phone app, developed with Red Pixel Studios in Owensboro. The free app is downloadable from iTunes and allows those with mobile devices to browse the OSO’s concert schedule and get other news updates, view a photo gallery, and connect to the OSO’s Facebook page. “We looked at other solutions for our app, but by far the best option was with Red Pixel Studios, right here in our downtown Owensboro neighborhood,” said OSO Executive Director Karen Porter. “We are looking for new ways to reach our audience and grow our audience, and this new phone app will be a great addition to our marketing efforts.”
