Australia’s Melbourne Symphony Orchestra has appointed ALICE WILKINSON director of marketing. The MSO has also announced the appointment of LEITH BROOKE as director of development, effective May 5.
Wilkinson goes to the Melbourne Symphony from the Australian Ballet, where she served as strategic marketing manager. She had previously held marketing positions at Ernst & Young, Fairfax Media, and Louis Vuitton.
Brooke was most recently director of development at Opera Australia. Prior to that she was head of business development at the Art Gallery of New South Wales. Earlier in her career she held marketing positions at Volvo in Australia and Europe, and then entered the arts field as development manager for Theatre Company B Belvoir.
