In Monday’s (4/14) New York Times, Robin Pogrebin reports, “Michael M. Kaiser is adding another position to his résumé. Mr. Kaiser, who steps down as president of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts on Sept. 1, will become co-chairman of IMG Artists, the performing arts management agency, IMG announced on Monday. Mr. Kaiser will serve alongside Barrett Wissman, who will continue in his role as chairman. Upon leaving the Kennedy Center, Mr. Kaiser will move the DeVos Institute of Arts Management, where he is president, to the University of Maryland—a move that was announced last fall. The DeVos Institute will work with IMG Artists in training and supporting arts managers. At the Kennedy Center, Mr. Kaiser will be succeeded by Deborah F. Rutter of the Chicago Symphony. IMG Artists also announced related organizational changes: Alexander Shustorovich, Mr. Wissman’s co-chairman, will become president and chief executive, succeeding Jerry Inzerillo, who will continue with IMG as a board member. Lorna Aizlewood, currently managing director of EMEA and general counsel, will become chief operating officer.”
