The Chicago Sinfonietta has extended MEI-ANN CHEN’s contract as music director for two years. She is now completing her third season with the Sinfonietta, and under the new contract her tenure will continue through the 2016-17 season. She is also music director of the Memphis Symphony Orchestra, a post she has held since 2010.
